Books to Movies

The Pillars of Earth by Ken Follett was a Great book but Very think.  When I heard they had made a mini series out of it, I just had to see it.  It looked really good and when I went to check it out at the library, the librarian kept going on and on about it.  I was really excited about watching it but I had to wait a whole week.  My first free day I couldn't wait anymore so I put it in.  I thought maybe I had gotten my hope up to high but I haven't been able to stop watching it.  It is Very close to the book. I was expecting something really bad but got something that I love.

I think I have to go buy it now!!  I highly recommend it but I would read the book first!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

It is Thursday and for the first time in a LONG time I got to sleep past 7 am and woke up with no kids in the house.  Yippy!!

The in-laws are in town staying at a hotel close by so two of the kids stayed the night with them and the last one got taken over there early today by my husband.  It felt so great to sleep in!

I guess I should get somethings done this morning now.  Have a great day everyone!!

Goodreads

Over the last year I have discovered a great site that you are able to track the books that you read.  Goodreads also has a lot of reading groups to join.  I have joined a few to stretch my comfort zone and make read things I normally wouldn't have.  I would suggest looking into this site.

I have joined a reading group that deals with only challenges. It is a great group that has you set goals each month or for the year.

The Challenge Factory is an awesome group.  I haven't been a member long but I have done a couple of challenges and love this group.  I have decided to do a couple challenges for the up coming year.  I'll keep you posted.

Jewelry, Jewelry and more Jewelry

I have started selling jewelry for lia sophia.  I had my first show tonight and it was awesome!!   I had two people order and one order.  Considering it was my first one I think I did ok.

Wish me luck on my husband's one tomorrow.

Life List

With 2011 coming to a close I have decided to look towards the future and have a list of things I would like to accomplish in my life.  In my 28 years of living I have already accomplished some of things on my list but I have so much more I want to do.

Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.

Rain

Who else loves the smell of rain??  I bet there are tons and I happen to be one of them.  I wish someone would bottle up the smell and sell it.  I bet they would make a ton of money. 

What if it didn't smell good??  Would people stop wanting it to rain all the time??  Would you want to smell feet or something worse every time it rained??  That would be really gross.  Would the smell make you not want to sit and listen to it anymore?

I love the sound and smell of rain but I'm not sure I would put up with the sound if it smelled really bad.  It happened to rain today while my youngest was taking a nap so I got to just lay on the bed to listen and smell.  It was really relaxing and much needed.  What is your favorite memory of rain??
